The Silence cover and the entire Becca Fitzpatrick, Hush Hush series, for which I created all the covers, in collaboration with Lucy Cummins and Simon and Schuster, has won the 2011 Paranormal Cover Art Awards in 3 categories. With great fanfare, Becca Fitzpatrick revealed the cover of Silence, the third book in the Hush, Hush saga, on MTV Hollywood Crush on May 2, 2011. This cover was yet another wonderful collaboration with Lucy Cummins of Simon and Schuster. We continued with the haunting, austere black-and-white mood established with the first two covers and now see the characters Patch and Nora united at last. The follow up to Becca Fitzpatrick’s wildly successful novel, Hush, Hush is now available at bookstores. It’s Crescendo. Creating the cover imagery that introduces the heroine, Nora, was a wonderful collaboration with Lucy Cummins of Simon and Schuster to arrive at the sequel cover. When Simon & Schuster approached me to create the cover for the supernatural teen romance novel, Hush, Hush, by Becca Fitzpatrick I was instantly drawn to the project. For years I had been working on a series of winged female nudes in b/w and this assignment seemed a natural progression from that work.
