Village Voice cover
Hitting the newsstands today is this Village Voice cover taking on the issue of gay marriage; now that the Empire State has legalized it, maybe not every gay wants it. I had shot the Statue images years ago from a helicopter and they sure came in handy for this project.

Alan Mulally for Chief Executive Mag.
Alan Mulally was named CEO of the year by Chief Executive Magazine. You may recall that he is an American engineer and businessman who is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Ford Motor Company. Ford, which had been struggling during the late-2000s recession, returned to profitability under Mulally and was the only American major car manufacturer to avoid government-sponsored bankruptcy. We had 15 minutes to do his portrait in the Ford offices in midtown NYC.

Silence
With great fanfare, Becca Fitzpatrick revealed the cover of Silence, the third book in the Hush, Hush saga, on MTV Hollywood Crush on May 2, 2011. This cover was yet another wonderful collaboration with Lucy Cummins of Simon and Schuster. We continued with the haunting, austere black-and-white mood established with the first two covers and now see the characters Patch and Nora united at last. Crescendo
The follow up to Becca Fitzpatrick’s wildly successful novel, Hush, Hush is now available at bookstores. It’s Crescendo. Creating the cover imagery that introduces the heroine, Nora, was a wonderful collaboration with Lucy Cummins of Simon and Schuster to arrive at the sequel cover. Making the cover for Hush Hush
When Simon & Schuster approached me to create the cover for the supernatural teen romance novel, Hush, Hush, by Becca Fitzpatrick I was instantly drawn to the project. For years I had been working on a series of winged female nudes in b/w and this assignment seemed a natural progression from that work.
